Ludhiana Round Table 188 Society India, through the Freedom Through Education Programme, received grant to build 3 Classroom Block at a Government middle school in Gisapura
The school had a potential for catering to the nearby areas like Makkar Colony, Ambedkar Nagar, Shanti Nagar and Laxman Nagar which are in close proximity with the school.
The project was a continuation of the first project at the same school where we built a 3 classroom block in the school which helped the school add more than 200 girl students. Success of the project was supported by the management at the time, the proactive team and the Principal, Sh Sudagar Singh Sarabha, was congratulated by the State Government on Teachers Day at a State level function. The building projects benefited more that 150 new kids enrolled to the school.
